Nikon 200mm f/4

Picked up this prime telephoto lens at District Camera in Burke VA for a great deal.

It's in fairly great shape, seemingly well kept and barely touched since 1977 (the date on the warranty card).

I took it outside after a bit of rain the other night to see how far I could push it and what I could get out of it. The answer was: quite a lot, reliably, and sharply.

Focus is smooth, it has a nice little built in hood, and overall feels much sturdier than anything else I currently own.

This might be the second standard vacation lens aside from the 50mm prime.

Definitely a winner: 10/10
